Nick Frampton

Nick Frampton qualified as an Environmental Health Practitioner in 1972. Following twenty years experience specialising in private sector housing in both rural, urban and city environments in local government, he joined the private sector as company director of Hillbans, specialist damp and timber treatment provider to the construction industry. As the director responsible for expansion he developed a pest control division, replacement wall tie services and his own environmental consultancy with responsibility for all aspects of Health & Safety including training and risk assessment.

Since leaving the Company in 1999, he continues to provide varied environmental consultancy services to a portfolio of commercial clients and is still retained by the Hillbans Group as their Environmental Consultant. 

Nick has also been employed on the English House Condition Survey since 1986 and is currently retained as a surveyor on the Continuous English House Condition Survey

In 2000 he participated in field work trials of Version 1 of the Housing Health and Safety Rating System and since then has been very active in providing assessments to Local Authorities. An accredited HHSRS trainer, he has worked extensively in providing both practitioner and enforcement training to Local Authorities and Housing Associations.
